Installation Guide

Notice: The actions of this installation guide has been done with Mozilla Firefox, please use the same internet software as me.

Step 1: Get an in-game account:

Register for your ingame account here:

Elite Ragnarok Online

 This is the page you'll be navigated to, fill out the bars and submit :

 Step 2: Log in your registered account on the site and download the client.





Go to

Elite Ragnarok Online


1. Enter your login information here:

2. Look for the "Downloads" tab on top the Elite Ragnarok Online site.

 You will be directed to this page:

 Now you have 2 options. You can either do it on the fullclient way or the patcher way. Just follow the steps written there.


Step 3.1: Installing ekRO Fullclient

Fullclient Guide

1- Download either the 1 File or the 3 parts of Fullclient


1. Go to the destination folder where you have downloaded the ekRO Full Client parts.

2. Double click Part 1 and extract ekro_FullClient to your default folder.

3. Go where you have extracted the ekRO FullClient and double click it.

4. A window will pop up. Click on Next

  5. Select the destination where ekRO will be installed and click Next.

Remeber to add an exception rule for this folder in your antivirus.

 6. Here you can select where will the EkRO short cut be installed. Click Next.

7. Here you can select if you want the installer to make shortcuts in your Desktop. Click Next.

8. Check that everything is allright and click Install.

 9. A green progress bar will appear. Wait until it's finished. A new window will pop up. Tick Launch EkRO box and click Finish.

 10. The launcher will appear. Wait it to patch your game if neccesary and then click on Launch game. Enter the user and pass you registed in EK Ragnarok Online webpage and start playing!

Step 3.2: Installing ekRO Patcher

Download the following things:

1.Download kRO Ragnarok 06-18-2009 (0618) and kRO Ragnarok Renewal 06-18-2009 (0618)

2.Download ekRO Patcher from:

Filefront:
Download EKRO_Patcher.exe

EK Server:
http://dll.elitekingdoms.com/ro/ekro_patcher.exe

3. Installing:

Here step by step guide for kRO / renewal

 Its really important to install all files in the same directoy.

The patcher installation is quite the same as fullinstaller. Just refer there


Step 4: Play

For the patcher way:
Double click on patchup_re.exe, ragnarok.exe, ragnarok_re.exe, ekro_patcher.exe
let everything update it might take a while depending on your internet speed..

Fullclient:
Double click on ekro_patcher.exe
let everything update it might take a while depending on your internet speed..

after this
1.always play the game using ekro_patcher
2.make a desktop shortcut of ekro_patcher after this you wont error again
3.weekly run these files (patchup_re.exe, ragnarok.exe, ragnarok_re.exe)
4.i am warning you if u dont start your ekro game with ekro_patcher u might get errors in future
